Style should never come at the expense of comfort

Style + Clarity + Comfort + Craft

Frames for every version of you.

Minimal or expressive. Classic or unexpected. We curate a range of shapes, colors, and materials—then narrow the choices to what works with your face, prescription, and daily life.

Clean lines, slim profiles, and versatile neutrals for an effortless everyday look.

Sculpted acetate, color, and confident proportions that make the frame the statement.

Titanium and precision metals for barely-there comfort and enduring strength.

Flexible, durable designs selected for active adults and growing kids.

The frame and prescription work together

A beautiful frame still needs to make optical sense. Frame size directly affects lens thickness, weight, and how your prescription performs. For stronger prescriptions, a slightly smaller eye size and thoughtful lens material can make a dramatic difference in comfort and appearance.

Centered Eyes

A great fitting frame will center the eye

Secure Bridge

A comfortable and secure bridge will prevent slippage

Correct Width

A correct width will prevent the frame from sliding forward

Comfortable Temples

Temples of the right length and curve will make sure the frame stays in place all day.

Great frames deserve the right lenses.

We translate your prescription and visual habits into straightforward choices—without overwhelming you with upgrades you do not need.

Choose the right balance of clarity, durability, weight, and thickness for your prescription.

Select a lens design that matches how you see—whether you need correction for one distance or seamless vision at every range.

Enhance everyday vision with options that reduce glare, filter select blue-violet light, adapt to sunlight, or improve outdoor clarity.

Our optical process

Less guessing. Better glasses. Our recommendations begin with what you actually need to see, do, and feel confident wearing.

01 Know your vision

We confirm your prescription and ask how you use your eyes—from screens and driving to reading and hobbies.

02 Edit the choices

We select frames that suit your proportions, style, prescription, and budget so shopping feels focused.

03 Personalize the lenses

Lens design, material, and treatments are matched to the frame and your real-world needs.

04 Fit the final pair

Professional measurements and adjustments help place the lenses correctly and keep the frame comfortable.

Questions from the optical

Need advice for your exact prescription? Bring it in and let us help you compare.

Yes — frame size directly affects how thick and heavy your lenses will be. This is one of the most important things we explain to patients before they choose a frame. A large frame with a strong prescription means more lens material, which means thicker, heavier lenses. In many cases, choosing a smaller eyesize can dramatically reduce lens thickness and make your glasses far more comfortable to wear all day. We always factor in your prescription before recommending frame sizes.

Both are thinner and lighter than standard plastic lenses, but they serve slightly different needs. Polycarbonate lenses are impact-resistant and a great all-around choice for most patients — especially active ones. High-index lenses are specifically designed for stronger prescriptions, bending light more efficiently so the lens can be made thinner. For patients with high prescriptions who want the slimmest possible lens profile, high-index is usually the better recommendation. We'll tell you which is right for your specific Rx.

It depends on how you use your eyes. If you spend several hours a day on a computer, phone, or tablet, anti-reflective coating reduces glare from screens and overhead lighting, while blue-light blocking filters the high-energy light that contributes to digital eye strain and disrupted sleep. For many of our Santa Ana patients who work in offices or spend long hours on screens, this combination makes a noticeable difference in end-of-day comfort. We'll only recommend it if your lifestyle genuinely calls for it.

Polarized prescription sunglasses reduce the total amount of light reaching your eyes and eliminate horizontal glare — the kind that reflects off roads, hoods, and wet surfaces. For patients who drive frequently or for long periods, this translates to less squinting, less eye fatigue, and sharper contrast. Regular tinted sunglasses reduce brightness but don't eliminate glare the way polarized lenses do. If driving is a big part of your daily routine, we almost always recommend a dedicated pair of prescription polarized sunglasses alongside your everyday frames.

Transitions lenses are photochromic lenses that darken automatically in sunlight and return to clear indoors. The latest generation — Transitions Signature GEN S — responds significantly faster than earlier versions, making them a practical everyday solution for patients who don't want to manage two separate pairs of glasses. They're especially popular with patients who are frequently moving between indoor and outdoor environments. We carry the latest Transitions technology and are happy to walk you through whether they're the right fit for your lifestyle.

Online retailers can fulfill a prescription number, but they can't assess the things that make glasses actually work for you: whether the frame fits your face correctly, whether the optical center of the lens aligns with your pupil, whether your prescription calls for a specific frame size or lens type, and whether the material suits your lifestyle. Glasses that don't fit well can cause headaches, blurred vision, and chronic eye strain — even if the prescription itself is technically correct.

We carry frames in a range of materials including acetate, stainless steel, titanium, and flexible memory metals like Flexon. Each has different properties: titanium is incredibly lightweight and strong — ideal for high prescriptions where reducing overall frame weight matters. Flexon frames are nearly indestructible and return to shape after being bent, which makes them great for active patients or anyone who's hard on their glasses. Acetate frames offer the most variety in color and pattern. We ask about your lifestyle, preferences, and prescription before recommending a material — comfort drives everything.
